The Columbus Division of Police is searching for this man, Caleb Michael Kazlausky, who is considered armed and dangerous after a deadly shooting earlier this morning.

Police continue their investigation in to a shooting early this morning in south Columbus that left one person dead.

Columbus Division of Police has identified the victim as 29-year-old Chad Edward Dunlap, and the suspect as 20-year-old Caleb Michael Kazlausky.

The incident occurred around 1:09am, Tuesday, in the 500 block of East Welch Avenue.

Police say Dunlap was shot in the chest by Kazlausky during an altercation. Dunlap was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, where he later died from his injuries.

Police say Kazlausky ran from the scene after the shooting and they continue to search for him.

Kazlausky has been charged with murder and according to police, he should be considered armed and dangerous.
